Steve, Nice message. Quite well said. To really cover the subject of Larry Wilson’s greatness, we need more time and space! In the brief, after listening to your message taped on that Florida beach, one has to be thinking and asking “why did Larry have so much fun with audiences?” The answer is Larry was a master at “authentic connection with people.” Authentic people connect authentically. Learning from the greats is a skill that must not be lost….mine the gold and learn from the best….why not? I don’t have time to learn everything by experience, I need to stand on the shoulders of giants like Larry, Bill and Steve and learn everything I can!!

I’m a new fan of yours. I first learned about you after downloading an episode on my bb from some authentic health coach website, and heard you speak about mental toughness and weight loss. At first I misread you, but I persevered and signed up for your 21 day coaching session. Well, I am on day 4 and am SO appreciating you! I really am. You are saying things that need to be said, and yet you’re not offensive because you’re humble. Great speaker. Really great. And so I followed your link to this blog, because I really do want to become comfortable speaking in public…my job demands it at times and I could do much more of it if I was more confident. I think my fatness has made me much less confident in that regard. I’ve only been fat the last five years…five years too many! Anyway, I wanted to listen to Larry Wilson on youtube like you mentioned, but there are so many Larry Wilson’s on there I didn’t know which one you meant. Can you possibly email me a link to a youtube clip of the Larry you’re referring to? I’m really interested in seeing his style of speaking. Funny thing is, one of the comments that people most say about me is that I’m engaging and people are drawn to me because I’m authentic. I’d love to learn to be comfortable in my own skin and let my personality shine through when I’m in front of a crowd, instead of going on autopilot and not even really being in touch with my feelings at the moment.
