Bob Proctor, whom Bill Gove affectionally referred to as “The Toronto Tornado” passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022. I spoke to him just a few weeks prior, and he sounded as positive as I’ve ever heard him. I first met Bob back in 1997, when he agreed to mentor me in the professional speaking business, before I had ever earned a fee. Along with our mutual mentor Bill Gove, we spoke to tens of thousands of people on stages around the world. “Uncle Bob”, as I called him, was the best of best, both on stage and off. In 2000, we recorded an album together at Nightingale-Conant in Chicago, along with Larry Wilson and Bill Gove, called “Create the Future”. “Uncle Bob”, as I called him, was the best of best, both on stage and off. He was not only my mentor, he was my friend. I’ll miss him dearly. Watch this short video on some of things I learned from Bob over our 25-year mentor/friendship.
