Speaking and traveling in post 9/11 America has a unique set of challenges, and it’s easy to be stopped by TSA and detained over almost anything–just long enough to miss your flight and possibly your speech. Have you considered adding a small video light to your road video kit? The reason I ask is because this video was a little dark, especially compared to the great one you shot on the sidewalk in Times Square, NYC.
I don’t have a model number to recommend but I know that there are compact lights for video that are arrays of LEDs which would help you can come across even better on video. Plus, I’ve found with digital video is that as the lighting gets darker, the image gets grainier and less sharp (even with HD).

I have 3 dba’s for my name, but I always use my birth name for travel (as it matches my drivers license) – even though the reservation was made under a dba name. If I ever get “pulled aside” I just may be screwed. Good news is I don’t fly that much. I drive my motor home to my speaking engagements. Maybe I should make up a business card with the name “Howdy Doody” – on second thought, maybe not.
